What Sets Bevs Apart
As Vermont's only specialty and 24/7 emergency animal hospital, BEVS is where the region's most complex cases end up. Here's what that means for you:
- Advanced on-site equipment and imaging - MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and radioiodine (I-131) therapy - ensuring complex cases are diagnosed and treated within BEVS by leveraging the collaboration between our emergency and specialty teams.
- A referral destination not just for Vermont, but for the wider region.
- A true multidisciplinary specialty bench - internal medicine, surgery, emergency & critical care, neurology, dentistry, and ophthalmology - meaning real case collaboration, not siloed departments.
- Roots in the Vermont veterinary community since 1999, grown by local veterinarians who saw a need and built something lasting.
- Medical leadership focused on doctor development, mentorship, and hospital culture - not just clinical throughput.
