The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Sudbury is looking for a resourceful, empathetic and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Administrative Assistant.

By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and our Advisor team, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Offering efficient internal support, you will be invaluable in ensuring the Advisory team functions fluidly and that each member receives the assistance they need to perform at their best.

What will you do?

Maintains client account records and processes transactions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and timely resolution of account inquiries.
Processes account administration tasks including client onboarding, documentation preparation, and fund transfers to support advisors and enhance client experience.
Escalates complex account issues and client requests to appropriate teams or advisors when resolution exceeds defined parameters.
Identifies opportunities to improve sales administration processes and resolves operational challenges using established practices and guidelines.
Works on routine and may experience non standard operational or support activities and assignments related to sales administration, applying established methods.
Makes decisions within own scope of work and defined parameters with limited latitude, escalating issues as needed.
Regularly generates ideas to improve sales administration tasks, applying creativity within established guidelines and resolving operational problems through guidelines and practice.
Fosters and maintains effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders within the broader team.

Must-have

Strong skills in working with various business applications/technology
High level of time management and organization skills
Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
Exceptional verbal and written communication in English

Nice-to-have

Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE
Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
Experience in the securities industry is an asset

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$35,000.00 - $47,000.00

This position includes competitive-based pay, and the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to:

0.5x
