Automation Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for component integration and regression testing using industry-standard API frameworks.
Integration & Database Verification: Write complex SQL queries to interact with databases, verifying that backend API calls mutate or retrieve data accurately.
Security & Auth Validation: Test endpoint access control mechanisms, including API keys, OAuth2 protocols, and JWT token-based authorization.
Performance Testing: Execute load, stress, and concurrency tests on endpoints to determine system behavior under peak traffic and measure response times or error rates.
Defect Life Cycle: Track, document, and report backend issues using project management software, providing complete log traces and steps to reproduce.
Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in sprint planning, refinement sessions, and stand-ups to ensure API testability is addressed early in the SDLC.
Strong communication and leadership skills. Mentor team members on automation best practices. Demonstrated ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
