What is the opportunity?

As the Manager of Operations Process Engineering, you will act as a lead and critical contributor to Technology & Enterprise Operations’ (TEO) transformation programs to meet our core goals of enhancing assigned operational domains - Cash Services, Payments & Trade, and Finance Shared Services Operations.

Our team is specifically accountable for conducting comprehensive current state analysis, identifying re-engineering and AI/automation opportunities, developing business cases, and designing future-state processes that result in improvements to efficiency, productivity, digitization, and risk reduction. This pivotal role directly contributes to operational excellence and innovation across the department.

What will you do?

Process Re-Engineering:
- Conduct comprehensive current-state process diagnostics and root cause analysis
- Identify and document re-engineering, automation, and AI opportunities with clear business rationale and impact potential
- Create process maps at varying levels - from end-to-end process flows to granular step-by-step designs - for both current and future state processes

Opportunity Assessment & Business Case Development:
- Evaluate opportunities for AI, GenAI, RPA, and workflow automation for feasibility and scalability
- Support business case development and ROI analysis
Future State Process Redesign and Transformation Delivery:
- Design future-state processes and document detailed process logic, business requirements, and capabilities
- Collaborate in cross-functional redesign, solutioning, and feasibility sessions
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build effective working relationships with Ops Center SMEs, process owners, IT, Data, and Risk
- Communicate findings and recommendations with clarity; participate in workshops and design sessions to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and compliance considerations to Senior Manager for governance review

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Innovation, Technology Management or related field

3+ years of experience in process improvement and IT transformation:
- Deep understanding of process design, mapping, value stream analysis, and Lean Six Sigma
- Ability to create clear, comprehensive process documentation, design specifications, and work product documentation to enterprise standards
Strong communication skills with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings
Interest in and basic understanding of technologies (Generative AI, Agentic AI, ML, RPA)
Intermediate proficiency in data analysis to support business case development
Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
Self-motivation and ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Structured problem-solving, curiosity, and critical thinking capabilities

Nice to Have

Process improvement certification (in Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
Experience in or knowledge of Product Ownership and/or SDLC/AI-DLC
Familiarity with Financial Services Operations
