Original job description

Trust & Operations Analyst

Company: RBX Media Group

Industry: Digital Media & Online Platforms

About RBX Media Group

RBX Media Group supports digital platforms and online communities, with a focus on operational efficiency, platform integrity, and sustainable growth.

We work in a fast-moving digital environment where sound judgment, accountability, and practical problem-solving are essential. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, works independently, and thrives in a role where their decisions make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

We're looking for a Trust & Operations Analyst to help maintain the safety, integrity, and smooth operation of an established online community platform.

In this role, you'll investigate user reports, identify suspicious activity, support billing investigations, and coordinate operational escalations. You'll work closely with moderators, internal teams, and external partners to ensure issues are addressed efficiently, consistently, and professionally.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys investigating problems, making informed decisions, and bringing structure to complex situations.

Key Responsibilities

Review and investigate user reports, suspicious activity, and potential platform abuse.
Identify behavioral patterns, repeat offenders, and emerging operational risks.
Assess and prioritize incidents based on severity and potential impact.
Resolve routine operational issues independently and escalate complex matters when necessary.
Support billing investigations, payment disputes, and transaction-related inquiries.
Coordinate with community moderators to ensure consistent enforcement of platform policies.
Prepare clear, concise investigation summaries and escalation reports.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and enforcement decisions.
Collaborate with external payment processors, service providers, and internal stakeholders when required.
Help improve operational procedures, reporting, and incident response workflows.
Support creator-related operational reviews when applicable.

What We're Looking For

Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Sound judgment and the ability to make consistent, well-reasoned decisions.
Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to recognize patterns, identify risks, and assess situations objectively.
High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Comfortable handling sensitive situations and potentially explicit user-generated content.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Willingness to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution.

Nice to Have

Experience in one or more of the following areas is an asset:

Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, or risk operations.
Online community management or content moderation.
Digital subscription platforms or online marketplaces.
Payment processing, billing operations, or chargeback investigations.
Compliance support, policy enforcement, or incident management.
Working with ticketing systems, moderation tools, or operational dashboards.

Work Structure

This role includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule to provide operational coverage during weekends and outside standard business hours.

Flexible scheduling, including compressed workweeks or alternative workdays, may be available depending on operational requirements.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility within a growing digital business.

You'll work closely with operational leadership, contribute to improving processes, and play an important role in maintaining a trusted and reliable platform.

We value good judgment, initiative, accountability, and results over unnecessary bureaucracy.

If you're a detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys investigating issues, bringing order to complex situations, and making a real operational impact, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply through LinkedIn with your resume and a brief introduction.
