English section of this bilingual listing.

Reaction Dynamics is a Quebec aerospace company founded in 2017 and based in Longueuil, dedicated to the design of hybrid space launch vehicles. Thanks to its patented technology that simplifies and makes space launches safer, Reaction Dynamics offers flexible, cost-effective solutions for responsive launches of small commercial and defense satellites into orbit. The company is building sovereign launch capabilities in Canada, while meeting the growing needs of the global market for rapid, on-demand access to space.

Why Choose Our Team?

At Reaction Dynamics, engineers support systems through the entire lifecycle from design and testing to flight operations. Composite engineers contribute to the development and production of advanced structural components.

We are seeking a Composite Engineer to support design, analysis, development, and manufacturing activities, including R&D, testing, and the integration of new processes. The role also involves improving filament winding processes in close collaboration with internal teams.

Your Impact

Perform hands-on and automated composite manufacturing, including prepreg layup, filament winding, vacuum bagging, and mold fabrication

2+ years of experience in the design and manufacturing of composite components for aerospace or similarly regulated environments (can include professional, research-based, or advanced student projects)
Knowledge of resin systems, fibers, and process-specific materials (e.g., carbon fiber, fiberglass, epoxy, phenolic, coatings, tooling board)
Experience with CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX
Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and using basic metrology tools
Hands-on experience with trimming, finishing, and assembling composite parts
Demonstrated ability to adapt and maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced or challenging environments

Graduate-level studies in an engineering discipline.
Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed
Travel to vendors and other Reaction Dynamics sites as needed

This position requires knowledge of and proficiency in English, as interactions with partners outside Québec who do not speak French, as well as compliance with international standards available only in English, are critical. Knowledge of French is considered an asset.

What We Offer

Permanent, full-time position
Hybrid work arrangement: typically 2–4 days per week on-site, depending on needs
Attractive and competitive salary
Stock purchase option

Poste permanent, temps plein
