Experience Required: 8+years in QA Testing, with 5+ years in Guidewire Testing preferred

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire P&C Integration/API & Functional Test Lead to lead quality assurance and testing initiatives across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and related insurance applications.

The ideal candidate will bring strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge, hands-on Guidewire testing experience, and expertise in functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end testing. This role requires ownership of test planning, execution, defect management, stakeholder coordination, and release readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, status reporting, and release readiness.
• Drive functional and integration testing across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and ContactManager.
• Validate core insurance workflows, including quote, bind, policy changes, renewals, cancellations, billing, claims, document generation, and customer updates.
• Lead REST/SOAP API testing and integration validation, including payloads, data mappings, authentication, error handling, and downstream system impacts.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), end-to-end (E2E) testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Perform production checkout and post-release validation.
• Lead defect triage, root cause coordination, and testing status reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve functional, regression, and API test automation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, integration teams, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of QA/testing experience, including test leadership responsibilities.
• 5+ years of Guidewire testing experience, preferably across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or ContactManager.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, including Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines.
• Hands-on experience with functional, integration, API, regression, E2E, and UAT testing.
• Experience with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, and/or HP ALM.
• Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, test reporting, and release validation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and test leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire certification and experience with Guidewire Cloud.
• Experience in Guidewire upgrades, migrations, implementations, or GTF/GT API/GT UI.
• Automation experience with Selenium, REST Assured, Java, Python, Jenkins, and Git.
• Knowledge of data reconciliation, rating, underwriting, billing, claims, and regulatory workflows.

A hands-on QA/Test Lead with deep Guidewire P&C experience who can bridge functional insurance requirements and technical integrations while ensuring quality across complex insurance systems.
