We're Hiring | Performance Test Engineer – Toronto, ON

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in performance testing tools, scripting, and application performance optimization to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.

📍 Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

🏢 Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite

💼 Experience: 6–8 Years

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for web-based and legacy applications.
  • Conduct load, stress, and performance testing using JMeter and HP LoadRunner.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing scripts using VuGen.
  • Create workload models and analyze application performance under varying load conditions.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
  • Track defects and manage testing activities using Jira and ALM.
  • Develop complex SQL queries for database validation and performance analysis.
  • Ensure performance testing activities align with SDLC and STLC methodologies.

🔹 Required Skills:

  • 6–8 years of experience in Performance Testing.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter and HP LoadRunner (Mercury).
  • Proficiency in VuGen scripting and workload modeling.
  • Familiarity with HP Performance Center.
  • Experience with Jira and ALM for test management and defect tracking.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries.
  • Extensive experience testing internet, web-based, and back-end legacy applications.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
