Original job description

Job Title: Junior Accounts Payable Clerk Company: Recruiter Location: Brampton, ON (On-site | Goreway Dr & Hwy 407) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000 / year + Comprehensive Benefits & Bonus

About the Opportunity Tired of a long commute into downtown Toronto? Are you looking for a stable, permanent role close to home in Peel Region?

we are actively recruiting a Junior Accounts Payable Clerk on behalf of our client, - a premier leader in packaging, corrugated manufacturing, and supply chain distribution. Located in a modern facility near Goreway Drive and Highway 407 in Brampton, SupplyOne is looking for a detail-oriented AP professional to take ownership of high-volume invoice processing and vendor reconciliations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2 to 3 years of hands-on AP experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment and wants to build a long-term career with an industry leader.

What You Will Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

High-Volume Processing: Accurately enter and process 200–500+ vendor invoices per week.
3-Way Matching: Execute strict 3-way matching (Purchase Order, Warehouse Receiving/Packing Slip, and Vendor Invoice) to ensure absolute accuracy.
Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively investigate and resolve price, quantity, and receiving discrepancies with internal purchasing agents and external suppliers.
Vendor Reconciliations: Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and track down missing credit memos or invoices.
Payment Execution: Assist the finance team in preparing weekly and bi-weekly payment batches (EFT, ACH, Wire, and cheque runs).
Month-End Support: Support the accounting team with month-end AP close procedures and accruals.

What You Bring to the Table (Requirements):

Experience: 2 to 3 years of dedicated, full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
Industry Background: Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, 3PL logistics, or packaging is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of major ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Sage 300, Epicor, or QuickBooks Enterprise).
Excel Skills: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel (comfortable utilizing VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables).
Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Location: Must be able to commute daily to the Brampton facility (this is a 100% on-site role).

What’s In It For You?

Competitive Base Salary: $50,000 to $55,000 per year, based on experience.
Complete Rewards: Comprehensive Medical and Dental benefits package + performance bonus structure.
Work-Life Balance: Standard Monday-to-Friday business hours with a highly convenient commute for residents of Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, or Woodbridge.
Career Stability: A permanent role within a highly essential, recession-resistant supply chain industry.

How to Apply: If you meet the above qualifications and are ready to join a collaborative and growing team, we want to hear from you! Please apply directly through LinkedIn and label "Junior AP Clerk - Brampton".

We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
