TITLE: Integrated Marketing Communications Director

LOCATION: GTA – Vaughan

WORK TYPE: On-Site | Full-time, permanent | 4 days in-office, 1 day remote

COMPENSATION: $150,000–$170,000 base salary + annual target bonus of up to 20%

About Our Client:

Our client is a growing beauty and personal care company with a portfolio of established and emerging brands. They are seeking a Director who can shape how those brands show up across culture, media, and the consumer conversation - and connect that work to measurable business results.

This leader will develop integrated, creator-led communications across PR, influencer marketing, social media, content, and paid media. The role calls for someone who can build earned attention, set paid media strategy, connect retailer media to broader campaigns, and bring internal teams and agencies together around clear priorities.

Responsibilities:

The Integrated Marketing Communications Director will:

Own the integrated communications strategy across the brand portfolio, aligning campaigns with brand priorities, product launches, and business objectives.
Lead paid and earned influencer programs, including creator relationships, partner selection, negotiations, activations, and budget management.
Build scalable earned media and PR programs that strengthen brand credibility, cultural relevance, and ongoing consumer engagement.
Own paid media strategy across the portfolio, including upper-funnel channels such as paid social and streaming or connected TV.
Partner with Brand, E-commerce, and Sales teams to integrate retailer media platforms, including Amazon Media and Walmart Connect, into broader communications plans.
Direct and challenge media agencies, using performance insights and consumer signals to refine strategy and investment.
Lead social media and platform-native content strategy, ensuring that organic content, creator activity, PR, and paid amplification work together.
Set clear measures of success across awareness, engagement, earned media value, return on investment, and commercial outcomes. Use results to improve future campaigns.
Lead and develop an internal team while managing agency relationships, performance expectations, and budgets.
Work closely with Brand, Creative, E-commerce, and Sales teams to deliver coordinated campaigns across channels.

Qualifications:

8–10+ years of experience in integrated marketing communications, ideally within beauty, personal care, or lifestyle brands.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Proven leadership across influencer marketing, PR, social media, content, and paid media.
Demonstrated ability to develop paid media strategy, assess agency recommendations, and make informed decisions across upper-funnel and performance channels.
Experience connecting retailer media with broader brand campaigns and working across Brand, E-commerce, and Sales teams.
Experience managing teams, agencies, and multi-million-dollar budgets.
Strong understanding of creator partnerships, earned media, consumer behaviour, and social platforms.
A track record of using data to evaluate communications and media performance, share clear recommendations, and improve results.
Strong communication, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work from the Vaughan office four days per week.
