This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in an automated environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and takes pride in maintaining precise financial records and fostering positive stakeholder relationships.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

  • Process a high volume of PO and non-PO invoices, verifying proper authorization routes and GL coding to ensure liabilities are recorded and paid accurately.
  • Manage specialized and recurring payments, including commercial lease and office rent schedules, ensuring previous balances are reconciled prior to processing current billings.
  • Enforce accounts payable policies and procedures, ensuring exact vendor matching, proper invoice formatting, and adherence to internal control protocols.
  • Perform routine supplier statement reconciliations, actively investigating and resolving discrepancies, unapplied credits, or outstanding payment inquiries.
  • Review AP aging reports and coordinate with internal department leads to gather missing details for automatic withdrawals and monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting deliverables.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal business units and external vendors, serving as a responsive point of contact for payables inquiries.

Your Strengths Include:

  • College Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience within a high-volume, automated accounting environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills).
  • Prior experience in the real estate, property management, or commercial leasing industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar enterprise accounting software is highly desirable, as is experience with Concur.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
