Office Cleaner (part-time)

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Office Cleaner (Part-Time) in our Kingsville Corporate Office

The Office Cleaner (Part-Time), under the direction of the Operations Manager, will primarily be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment. This role focuses regular cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas throughout the office and select areas of the warehouse.

Main Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize washrooms; including toilets, sinks, countertops, mirrors, fixtures, and other frequently touched surfaces
• Clean and sanitize office kitchenettes; including coffee machines, countertops, refrigerator, sinks, cabinets, and other frequently touched surfaces
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces throughout the office, including door handles, light switches, handrails, railings, and shared work areas
• Regularly disinfect common areas and high-traffic spaces to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
• Follow the office cleaning schedule, ensuring tasks are completed as required
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
• Replenish paper towel dispensers, toilet paper, hand soap and disinfectant dispensers throughout the facility
• Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces (kitchen, lunch areas, etc.)
• Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks as required
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Working Conditions

• 25-30 hours/week, Monday – Saturday
• Primarily indoor work in office and cold storage warehouse areas
• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Walking, standing, bending, lifting throughout the day.
• Work with cleaning chemicals.
• Occasionally required to lift/push light weights 25-50+ pounds
• May require working occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on operational hours

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers an hourly rate of $19.⁰⁰
