Original job description

About RKFL:

Regal Kitchhen Foods Limited is an India-based packaged-food manufacturer serving international markets. We are seeking representatives based in the assigned market to support account development, coordinate local commercial partners and strengthen follow-through across selected food and grocery accounts.

About the Role:

Each engagement will cover an agreed country or territory based on business needs and candidate capability. You will connect local market activity with RKFL’s India team, helping assigned accounts move forward and ensuring that commercial and execution issues have clear owners, next actions and timelines. The role combines buyer and partner engagement with practical coordination across launches, fulfilment and repeat business. It carries a defined account scope rather than country-head authority or exclusive territorial rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an assigned-account map covering relevant grocery retailers, importers, distributors, brokers and other agreed channels in the assigned country.
  • Follow up with named buyers and accounts on meetings, samples, product evaluations, quotations and agreed next steps; coordinate approvals with RKFL.
  • Coordinate brokers, distributors, importers and local service partners so that responsibilities and follow-up actions are clear.
  • Support launch readiness by tracking agreed product information, samples, partner inputs, stock availability and unresolved dependencies with the responsible teams.
  • Improve visibility of warehouse, third-party logistics, fulfilment and local delivery issues where relevant; document the impact, owner, recovery action and due date.
  • Support repeat business through account check-ins, replenishment follow-up and timely escalation of service issues.
  • Represent RKFL in selected buyer meetings, partner reviews, exhibitions and local commercial discussions within the agreed mandate.
  • Capture relevant market feedback on products, pricing, packaging, competitors and channel requirements, and translate observations into practical recommendations.
  • Maintain a shared tracker of account stages, meeting outcomes, open issues and next actions; participate in monthly reviews and scheduled coordination with India.

Candidate Profile and Performance

What You Bring:

  • Relevant experience in food, FMCG, grocery, importer-distributor businesses, food brokerage or commercial account coordination. Around 5–15 years is the preferred profile; equivalent capability will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of grocery channels in the assigned market and the ability to navigate buyer, distributor and broker relationships. Relevant international experience is welcome; prior employment in a particular country is not required.
  • Evidence of moving accounts and execution issues forward through disciplined follow-up, clear escalation and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to work with account volumes, pricing inputs, stock or delivery information and basic commercial performance measures.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, Excel, Google Sheets or shared trackers to maintain accurate reporting and next-action visibility.
  • Clear professional communication in English. French is an asset for assignments involving French-speaking accounts.
  • Ability to operate from the assigned country, attend agreed local meetings and travel within the assigned territory, and legally undertake the agreed engagement.
  • A practical, accountable working style, with transparent reporting of progress, constraints, availability and any potential conflicts of interest.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:

  • An agreed named-account map with account stage, buyer or partner contacts, priorities and next actions.
  • A local partner map showing relevant brokers, importers, distributors and service partners with clear roles.
  • Documented follow-through on meetings, samples, quotations and launch or replenishment actions.
  • Improved visibility of open execution issues, including ownership, ageing, escalation and closure evidence.
  • Demonstrable commercial progress in selected accounts, assessed against their starting stage and agreed objectives.
  • Consistent reporting and participation in the agreed review rhythm.

Account-specific targets will be agreed at onboarding. Performance will be reviewed monthly, formally at 90 days, and at 180 days to determine continuation or scope changes.

Engagement Terms

This is a fractional engagement with a defined scope. The retainer and performance-linked variable will be agreed in writing, including eligibility, measurement and payment conditions. Travel and expenses will follow agreed approval terms. Pricing, credit, exclusivity and contractual commitments require RKFL approval. The role does not provide blanket geography rights.

How to Apply

Apply through this platform or contact us using the details below. Share your résumé or professional profile, location, preferred market, availability and two brief examples of account follow-through or execution coordination. Please do not include confidential client information.
