Original job description

Company Description

For 100 years, Reitmans (Canada) Limited (RCL) has defined the Canadian retail fashion landscape with its three iconic brands, Reitmans, RW&CO and PENN. Penningtons. We're excited about what we’ll build together next.

Our vision is to empower Canadians to live confidently, and our mission is to create collections of uncompromising style and quality for all.

We believe great people do their best work alongside other great people. Here, you’ll have a voice, be challenged to grow and be part of a team driven by curiosity, bold thinking and ownership.

Come raise the bar of Canadian fashion with us.

Job Description

Love fashion, have a knack for numbers, and enjoy understanding what makes products sell?

If you have experience working in retail and are ready to take your career in a new direction, this could be your next step!

Join PENN. as an Allocation Analyst and bring your passion for fashion, products and customer trends into a role where data drives decisions.

You'll turn sales and inventory insights into action, helping ensure the right styles, sizes and quantities are in the right place at the right time. Working closely with our Buying, Planning and Merchandising teams, you'll stay connected to the world of fashion while building your analytical skills and making a real impact on the business.

What You'll Do

Analyze sales trends, inventory levels and store and ecommerce performance to make smart allocation decisions that support sales and product availability.
Work closely with Buying, Planning and Merchandising teams to understand seasonal collections, product strategies and business priorities.
Monitor inventory and adjust merchandise allocations based on customer demand, selling trends and upcoming promotions.
Identify opportunities to improve product availability, inventory turnover and performance across stores and digital channels.
Build and maintain accurate allocation reports, inventory data and size profiles to support effective merchandise distribution.
Collaborate with Distribution Centre partners to ensure products flow efficiently to stores and support new store openings.
Review end-of-season results, identify key learnings and recommend opportunities to improve future allocations.

Qualifications

What You Bring

A degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Fashion Marketing or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in retail, allocation, merchandise planning, inventory management or a related analytical role.
A genuine interest in fashion, retail trends and understanding what drives product performance.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a curiosity for working with data and finding solutions.
Good Excel skills and an eagerness to learn new systems and reporting tools.
A collaborative, organized and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Why You'll Love This Role

This is a great opportunity to take your retail experience beyond the store and discover the analytical side of fashion.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to how products are planned, distributed and sold across our business, collaborate with teams that bring our collections to life, and develop valuable skills in merchandise allocation and inventory analysis.

Ready to combine your love of fashion with your analytical side? Your next career move starts at RW&CO. Apply today!
