THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD
requires the following
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL
SCHOOL: Champlain Discovery Public School, Pembroke
FTE: 100% (35 hours per week)
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum two year community college diploma in the social services field (e.g. DSW, CYW, SSW), or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the Board. (Transcripts may be requested to support relevant course detail.)
Applicants must have a proven ability and willingness to perform the essential duties of an Educational Support Personnel, including toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting,
transferring, positioning and providing assistance with mobility.

Responsibilities
Provide educational support to students at Champlain Discovery Public School. Duties include personal care and assistance with feeding, lifting, transferring, positioning, and mobility.
Requirements
A minimum two-year community college diploma in social services, such as DSW, CYW, or SSW, or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the Board is required. Applicants must be able and willing to perform the essential physical and personal-care duties; training in autism, behaviour management, lifting, WHMIS, and Collaborative and Proactive Solutions is an asset.
