Original job description

Overview:

The Account Executive is a high-impact, field-based sales role responsible for growing revenue across our group of property services companies: Resolve Restoration (restoration, remediation, and emergency property services), Centrum Concierge and Security (concierge, security, front-desk, and building manager services), and MintClean Building Maintenance (janitorial, cleaning, and building maintenance services). We are looking for an ambitious and energetic sales professional to move prospective clients through our sales process, secure new clients, and cross-sell our services to existing clients. You will also build long-term relationships with property managers, strata managers, insurance adjusters, brokers, and other referral sources to secure sustainable growth for the organization.

Role and Responsibilities

Maintain a strong weekly routine of 10–15 client and prospect meetings, including cold calling, on-site visits, presentations, and follow-up activities, as set by leadership.
Research and prepare for meetings and bring on new clients for the organization.
Demonstrate strong phone skills and apply the training from onboarding.
Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing summaries, and sales documentation in accordance with Company pricing, approval processes, and standard terms and conditions.
Follow the Company’s sales process as trained during onboarding, including pipeline reviews, proposal and pricing approvals, discounting requirements, and standard terms and conditions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, referral sources, strategic partners, and business contacts.
Achieve quarterly sales targets and performance expectations, which may be adjusted based on business needs, market conditions, territory, or service offerings.
Conduct lunch and learn sessions, attend networking and industry events, and entertain clients, including occasional evening or weekend activities.
Communicate the company’s unique value proposition and effectively sell our products and services against our competitors.
Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities across our restoration, concierge and security, and janitorial and building maintenance service lines.
Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, lead sources, client communications, proposals, pipeline status, and deal status in the Company’s CRM, using only Company-approved systems and accounts.
Represent the organization with honesty and integrity and act in accordance with our code of conduct and company values.
Continue to learn and invest in your sales skills and stay abreast of industry trends and news.
Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with clients, referral sources, and internal teams.
Organize your schedule, territory, and pipeline to manage multiple opportunities and follow-ups at once.
Work closely with the operations team to implement new clients and support client satisfaction, retention, issue resolution, and account growth.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

4–5 years of outside B2B sales experience, ideally in property services, restoration, facilities, or security
Experience prospecting your own leads
Account management experience
Proficiency using Office 365
Valid BC driver’s licence and a driver’s abstract satisfactory to the Company

Preferred Skills

Experience working with strata managers, property managers, insurance adjusters, or brokers
Established network in the Lower Mainland property management, strata, or insurance community
Bachelor’s degree

Additional Notes

The position reports to the General Manager, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the COO, and is a key component of the organization’s growth and revenue goals.
The role is field-based and may require evening or weekend work for client meetings, networking events, and business development activities.
It is expected that the individual in this role will be a self-starter and require minimal supervision.
It is also expected that they will take ownership over their routine and results and consistently work to meet and exceed their sales targets.

What we offer:

A base salary of $80,000, plus commission and quarterly bonus, with target total compensation of $175,000 and no cap on commission earnings;
a vehicle allowance or Company vehicle;
three weeks’ vacation; and
health benefits after a three-month probationary period.
