Starting Wage: $20.00 + $1.50/Hr for night audit shifts
Expectations & Responsibilities
In your position of
Front Desk/Night Audit Attendant, you will:
- complete hotel reservations, maintain current bookings and enforce cancellation policies
- complete guest check-ins, room reservation modifications, and guest check-outs
- coordinate with the maintenance and housekeeping team to ensure guest inquiries are handled in timely fashion
- respond to guest communications via phone or online
- assist in room checks once housekeeping has finished
- sell lift tickets, ski/board repair packages, snow lessons, dinner reservations, spa appointments, and any other hotel or ski packages as needed by the business and/or guests (Concierge Primary)
- perform start and end of day procedures
- produce and distribute the morning housekeeping report out of our central reservation system (Housekeeping Supervisor Primary)
- produce reports as required for housekeeping and maintenance out of central reservation system and other systems (Housekeeping Supervisor & Maintenance Supervisor Primary)
- keep the front desk area clean of debris and clutter to be in safe working order
- run room master reports and end of night audit
- count float, print Moneris reports, and balance cash outs
- create welcome packs for guests
- respond to requests on Akia
- take payments from OTAs, Inntopia, and central reservation
- complete pre-arrival calls for guests checking in
- call local cab companies or shuttles to assist guests getting a ride
- valet ski equipment in winter and assist with access to ski lockers (seasonal) (Porter Primary)
- take skis from front desk to ski valet as needed (Porter Primary)
- know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- be trained in, know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- complete other fair and reasonable tasks as requested by management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotels
