Company Summary:

Founded in 2008, REV’s sole focus is electrical power, its generation, distribution, control, protection and safe utilization. REV is acknowledged throughout our industry as a leader in safety.

Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting REVs Business Development Managers (BDMs) in their sales efforts by providing in office support for all sales functions. This role involves providing administrative and operational support, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from inquiry to post-sale service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Business Development Managers with entry and maintenance of sales opportunities in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Assist Business Development Managers with entry and maintenance of sales opportunities in M-Files (Document Management System).
Complete CMP documentation and work with the Estimating Manager to ensure all CMP processes are followed.
Manage customer estimate clarifications.
Complete Customer account setup and coordinate credit checks with the accounting department.
Coordinate warranty claims and work with BDMs to ensure communication continuity between REV departments.
Work with the Estimating Manager/PMO Director to complete the customer PO handover process.
Manage estimate submittals on external bid submittal sites.
Assist BDMs with estimate follow-up.
Coordinate all requests brought in by Manufacturing BDMs for Field Service with the Field Service Department.
Assist BDMs with customer feedback and creation of Voice of the Customer documentations (VOCs).
Assist BDMs with the development of simple budget estimates.
Manage online activities such as internet sales requests and monitor opportunities from bid sites such as MERX and APC.
Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager to ensure REV`s goals and objectives are met.
Performs all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in REV’s Safety and Human Resources Policy Manual.
Performs duties according to REV’s quality system procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of REV manufactured products (Switchgear, Switchboards, Custom Electrical Products).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role within the commercial and industrial electrical industry.
Strong electrical technical background.
Strong organizational and presentation skills.
Enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated.
A sales mentality, driven to provide “exceptional customer service support”, and experience in developing and maintaining new customers in a highly competitive business environment.
Microsoft Office computer skills required.
A collaborative team player with a professional and positive approach and notable willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully navigate between the operational groups at REV.
