Respond to customer inquiries, communicate quote, and order status, and follow up on outstanding quotes in coordination with the responsible salesperson or account owner.
Work directly with vendors to gather material pricing, lead times, and availability, and collaborate with Production to obtain accurate production estimates for quoting.
Execute order processing activities, including confirmation of customer requirements, order entry, documentation accuracy, and coordination of hand-offs to Engineering and Production. Coordinate status updates between departments and escalate any issues affecting delivery.
Maintain accurate CRM entries for quotes, opportunities, customer updates, and internal notes. Monitor CRM records for completeness and accuracy, and follow up with opportunity owners to update stages, next steps, and outstanding information.
Identify workflow gaps, process bottlenecks, or recurring issues and recommend improvements to quoting, order processing, or customer communication. Provide feedback to leadership on customer trends, technical requirements, and product or process improvements.
Participate in internal meetings to communicate customer needs, order status updates, market insights, or priority issues requiring cross-functional support.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our services and provide value to customers.
Other duties as required.
