Original job description

Company Description Ridley Windows & Doors West is a premium, full-service provider of custom windows and doors for residential, commercial, institutional, and heritage projects. The company is recognized for a flexible, collaborative approach that emphasizes strong, long-term client relationships. Ridley Windows & Doors West delivers high-quality installations backed by industry-leading warranties and maintenance services. Team members work closely with clients, designers, and contractors to provide tailored solutions that meet both aesthetic and performance requirements.

Role Description This is a full-time Sales Executive role based in Milton, ON, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Sales Executive will manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and closing sales. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with architects, builders, designers, and property owners, as well as following up on inquiries and referrals. The role involves visiting project sites, understanding technical specifications and design requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate estimates and timely delivery. The Sales Executive will track sales activities in CRM tools, meet revenue and margin targets, and provide ongoing support to clients to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

Strong consultative sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders in residential and commercial markets.
Comfort with reading basic plans or drawings and learning product specifications related to windows and doors.
Effective communication skills, including clear presentation abilities and professional email and phone etiquette.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple opportunities, site visits, and follow-ups.
Proficiency with CRM software and standard office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
Prior experience in construction, building materials, fenestration, or related industries is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client and site visits.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team in a hybrid environment.
Post-secondary education in business, sales, construction management, or a related field is an advantage.
