Role Description This full-time, on-site Truck Driver role is based in Canada . We good runs from canada to Usa. Involves safely operating company trucks to transport freight between terminals, customer locations, and distribution centers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following planned routes and schedules, and ensuring on-time pick-ups and deliveries. The Truck Driver will load and unload freight as required, secure cargo according to company and regulatory standards, and maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and other documentation. The role also includes adhering to company safety policies, applicable transportation regulations, and communicating effectively with dispatch and operations teams throughout each trip.
Qualifications
- Possess strong truck operation skills, including Truck Driving and safe handling of a commercial Truck.
- Hold a valid CDL Class A (or Canadian equivalent) and maintain a clean driving record.
- Demonstrate knowledge of DOT Regulations and other applicable Canadian transportation and safety standards.
- Be able to perform loading and Unloading tasks, including securing freight and handling basic material-moving equipment.
- Previous experience in regional or long-haul trucking is an asset.
- Strong attention to safety, punctuality, and route planning, with the ability to adapt to changing road and weather conditions.
- Good communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including climbing into/out of trucks and handling freight as needed.
