The Position
As our IT Systems Administrator, you’ll support the charge in securing, optimizing, and scaling our endpoint and cloud-based IT operations. You’ll partner closely with IT leadership and Security teams to implement and maintain best-in-class systems and controls, supporting a hybrid workforce with a strong focus on proactive device management, data protection, and user experience. This is a hybrid role with an expectation to support in-office work, and it may occasionally require travel and lifting.

This role keeps Rightsline’s hybrid workforce secure, productive, and well-equipped - from the devices people use every day to the AI infrastructure the company is increasingly building on. You will be accountable for the security posture and compliance readiness of our endpoint and cloud environments, and for how safely and effectively AI tools are deployed and used across the organization. Success looks like a well-managed device fleet, audit-ready compliance, and IT and Security teams that trust the systems and controls you maintain.
What You Will Own
This role’s work spans five areas, each described below.
Endpoint Security & Device Management
- Support endpoint security and compliance across Mac and PC environments using modern MDM solutions (e.g., Mosyle, Hexnode, Intune), and ensure device hygiene, OS patching, and encryption are enforced
- Own and evolve device lifecycle management from procurement to decommissioning, including inventory tracking, configuration, and hardware budgeting
- Manage and optimize our MDM and security suite solutions (Mac & PC), working with vendors to evaluate performance, costs, and integrations
AI Infrastructure & Emerging Technology
- Support and advance our AI infrastructure and initiatives, including deployment, maintenance, and security
Data Protection & Compliance
- Maintain a secure environment with DLP, malware protection, phishing prevention, and cloud backup solutions
- Collaborate on device compliance strategy, supporting audit-readiness and SOC2 objectives through robust configuration and policy enforcement
Systems & Tools Administration
- Administer and enhance our enterprise communication tools (Slack, Google Workspace), including access policies, automation, and integrations
- Monitor and report on SaaS usage and shadow IT, using discovery tools to uncover risk and eliminate redundancy
- Oversee third-party professional IT services as needed to supplement support and project work
- Assist with Jira Service Management administration and the Atlassian suite in general
Support & Mentorship
- Provide Tier 2 escalation support and mentor junior admins or IT support specialists
What You Will Bring
- 4+ years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure, ideally in a SaaS or fast-growth tech environment
- Education or hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence, including tools such as Claude and Gemini, MCPs, Skills, and Plugins, and third-party inference platforms such as AWS Bedrock
- Working knowledge of AI security principles, enforcement, and policy, with experience deploying and managing AI tools across Mac and Windows environments
- Senior-level experience managing Windows and Mac devices via MDM platforms, including deep troubleshooting using logs, Active Directory/Entra/M365 administration, and management profiles, ABM, system recovery, and app deployment
- Strong grasp of endpoint security, DLP, phishing, and malware defense strategies
- Experience with cloud-first environments, especially Google Workspace and Slack administration
- Advanced knowledge and experience administering and securing AI technologies across the organization
- Comfortable with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with InfoSec, Engineering, HR, and Finance
- Excellent documentation and vendor management skills
- Analytical mindset with experience supporting IT budgeting and cost-control initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license, useful for the role’s occasional travel requirements
