Shape the quality and reliability of asset data that underpins maintenance, operational performance and the Modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation.
Combine master data expertise with hands-on engineering and asset management work, creating a pathway into future engineering opportunities across operations.
Permanent, full-time opportunity based in Kitimat, BC, offering an exceptional lifestyle with access to world-class outdoor recreation and a close-knit community.

We’re Finding Better Ways™ to provide materials the world needs, now and in the future. Our values – care, courage and curiosity – guide how we work and how we treat each other.

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer to support the design, governance and continuous improvement of asset master data across our maintenance systems. In this role, you will apply engineering knowledge to help ensure equipment, material and maintenance information is accurate, structured and aligned with operational needs. Working closely with maintenance, operations and functional teams, you will help strengthen the foundation that supports planning, execution and long-term asset management decisions.

This is a great opportunity for a data-minded engineering professional who wants to strengthen asset reliability, improve how critical maintenance information is structured and used, and play a hands-on role in a major system transformation. You will build deeper knowledge across maintenance, operations and asset management while helping teams make better decisions through accurate, reliable and sustainable master data.

While we don’t offer fly-in-fly-out arrangements, we do offer domestic relocation assistance, to help you settle in and thrive. Join us and become an integral part of our vibrant community. Located on British Columbia, Canada's northwest coast, Kitimat is a welcoming, family‑friendly community set between the mountains and the sea. Known for its strong local economy, modern amenities, short commutes, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure, it’s an ideal place to build both a career and a life.

Lead or support system upgrades, ERP initiatives, data migrations and process improvement projects.
Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, task lists and maintenance procedures.
Manage interfaces, reports, dashboards and data extraction processes to support operational decision-making.
Review and improve bills of materials, material specifications and asset hierarchies to align with maintenance strategies.
Partner with field maintenance and operations teams to solve equipment and process challenges and deliver long-term reliability improvements.
