About The Role

We are looking for a Supervisor - Mobile Maintenance to lead maintenance crews in the safe and cost-effective delivery of production and maintenance targets. In this role, you’ll coordinate planned work and breakdown repairs that improve mobile equipment availability and reliability, while supporting a team environment where people look out for one another.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys frontline leadership and wants to strengthen team capability and maintenance performance in a dynamic mining operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Superintendent and working in a safety-focused operational environment within Mobile Maintenance, you will

Lead maintenance crews to complete planned, scheduled and breakdown work safely and in line with work priorities.
Model safe behaviours and actively support safety observations, team safety talks, workplace inspections and incident investigations.
Coordinate work sequencing and assignments based on equipment availability, operational priorities and team capability.
Partner with the Maintenance Planner to confirm job scope, materials and readiness, and provide clear feedback on completed and rescheduled work.
Coach team members, establish clear performance expectations and arrange training that supports safe, capable and inclusive teams.
Work with operational customers and team members to resolve maintenance issues and improve productivity, quality and equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate information in work management, payroll and reporting systems to support sound operational decisions.
Promote constructive employee relations by addressing concerns early and applying workplace processes consistently.

Leadership experience supervising maintenance or production teams in a mining, processing or other safety-critical industrial environment.
Experience coordinating planned maintenance, work execution and breakdown response for mobile equipment or comparable heavy industrial assets.
Ability to set clear expectations, coach team members and address day-to-day performance or employee relations matters.
Ability to communicate maintenance priorities and outcomes with planners, operations customers and frontline team members.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience entering accurate information in work management or operational reporting systems.

Helpful for Success

A trade certification in heavy-duty equipment, electrical or millwright disciplines.
Experience using maintenance history and work feedback to improve equipment availability, reliability and work quality.
