POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, tracking, and delivery of projects within defined scope, timelines, and budget parameters. This role works closely with Project Managers, project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and business partners to maintain project schedules, documentation, reporting, risks, issues, and action its. The Senior Project Coordinator helps ensure project activities are organized, deliverables are monitored, and project governance standards are followed throughout the project life cycle.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provide project coordination support to Project Managers in defining and maintaining project scope, deliverables, milestones, resource requirements, schedules, and budget tracking in collaboration with sponsors, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Support development of project artifacts based on PMI methodology and best practices.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, log, file and track RAID, document and monitor action items to support timely completion.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and leadership through status updates, dashboards, reports, and project documentation.
- Assist with resource planning by coordinating availability, onboarding project contributors, monitoring assignments, and escalating resource constraints or conflicts as required.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverable trackers using approved project management tools.
- Coordinate project artifacts and ensure documentation is complete, current, accessible, and aligned with project management standards, audit requirements, and compliance expectations.
- Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, scope, and quality expectations, identifying variances and supporting corrective actions with the Project Manager.
- Support project closure activities by coordinating lessons learned, collecting final documentation, updating repositories, and assisting with closure reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree or college diploma in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field of study.
- Project management certification, training, or coursework such as PMI CAPM, PMP, or equivalent is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience supporting or coordinating projects, preferably within an Information Technology, business systems, or transformation environment.
- Strong working knowledge of project management practices, project life cycles, governance processes, documentation standards, and status reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track details, coordinate deadlines, and follow through on action items.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent applications.
- Familiarity with SDLC, business process documentation, application delivery, data concepts, and technology project environments is considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear meeting notes, status updates, reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with project teams, vendors, business partners, and leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.

$86,500 - $105,500 a year

The base salary range for this role reflects compensation for candidates at varying levels of experience and proficiency. The salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant competencies, including skills, experience, education, and our teams’ requirements.
The listed salary range does not include bonus and other total rewards. This role is eligible for participation in the company’s bonus program.
