Role Description

The Leasing Specialist is a commission-based, hybrid role based in Brossard, QC, with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work independently.

The primary responsibility is to meet prospective tenants and conduct property visits. RIVEO handles the overall marketing strategy, provides marketing materials, and advertises available units through its marketing channels and the MLS, where applicable.

The Leasing Specialist is also responsible for posting and promoting available units on relevant rental websites and social media platforms to generate interest and attract prospective tenants.

The role focuses on conducting property tours, presenting available units professionally, answering prospective tenants’ questions, and helping convert visits into successful leases. The company provides marketing support, allowing the Leasing Specialist to focus primarily on property visits and securing qualified tenants.

Qualifications

* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust with prospective tenants.

* Professional, confident, and organized when conducting property visits.

* Experience in residential leasing, real estate, or property management is an asset.

* Comfortable posting rental listings on online marketing platforms and social media.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage appointments independently.

* Ability to work on-site at properties throughout Brossard and the South Shore of Montreal.

* Fluency in French; English is a strong asset.

* High level of professionalism, reliability, integrity, and commitment to providing fair and respectful service.

Compensation Structure

This is a commission-based opportunity with no fixed monthly salary and no limit on monthly earnings.

The Leasing Specialist earns a commission for each successful lease resulting from their work. Commission is payable once the first month’s rent has been received by RIVEO from the tenant.

There is no cap on the number of leases or the total commission that can be earned in a month. Earnings depend on performance and the number of successful leases secured.
