Class 1 - Semi-Vac Operator

Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations
- Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documents.
- Attend daily safety meetings
- Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain valid safety tickets & site orientations as required
- Minimum 3 Years, valid Class 1 License w/ Clean Abstract with Air Brakes
- Must be Experienced with the operation of a Semi Vac
- 13 or 18 Speed Transmission experience (must be able to drive manual transmission)
- Strong communicator with staff, managers and other drivers
- Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive
- CSE, CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance are considered assets
- Operate a heavy vehicle in challenging environments, in all weather, and in compliance with legal, company, and client requirements
- Willingness to provide references, consent to a criminal record check and complete pre-employment alcohol & drug testing
- Excellent safety record and a commitment to safe work practices
- Must be physically fit to enter and exit the vehicle many times per day, inspect under vehicle and trailer, and climb

- Pay is dependent on experience, performance, andqualifications.
- Rotation schedule will varyin accordance withtheparticular project, however regular in/out schedule will bedeterminedand communicated to employees inadvance.
- Hours of work per day vary but are regularly 10-12 hours per day, with applicable overtimerates.

Responsibilities
Operate semi-vac equipment safely while maintaining the vehicle according to company and manufacturer standards. Ensure accurate documentation of logs and participate in daily safety meetings to maintain site compliance.
Requirements
Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience with a valid Class 1 license and proficiency in operating manual transmissions. Candidates must be physically fit, willing to travel, and possess relevant safety certifications.
