We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a 3-month HRIS transformation initiative. This role will focus heavily on business process definition, requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, and change adoption rather than hands-on system configuration.
The organization has already received guidance on how to configure its ADP environment, but now needs support determining how its business processes should actually operate within the system.
What you’ll be doing:
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops across multiple departments.
- Document and map current-state and future-state business processes.
- Help stakeholders define how recruitment, onboarding, employee orientation, approvals, workflows, reporting, and analytics should operate.
- Identify what information should be captured within the HRIS and establish consistent processes and standards.
- Work with business teams to clarify questions such as: What should the recruitment process look like from posting through hire? What steps should be included during onboarding? What employee documents, policies, and information should be provided? What approvals and workflows are required? What reporting and analytics are needed?
- Identify process gaps and make recommendations to leadership.
- Support training, user adoption, and broader change-management activities.
- Keep stakeholders engaged and aligned throughout the project, including situations where participation may be inconsistent.
- Communicate progress, risks, gaps, and recommendations to project leadership.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong Business Analyst experience with a focus on requirements gathering and workshop facilitation.
- Demonstrated experience with process mapping, process improvement, and future-state design.
- Experience supporting HR, recruitment, onboarding, HRIS, or broader business transformation initiatives is highly valuable.
- Experience supporting training, adoption, or organizational change initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead conversations, challenge existing processes, and help stakeholders arrive at practical decisions.
- ADP experience is an asset, but not required. Strong Business Analysis experience is the priority.
- This role will not be responsible for configuring the ADP system.
