Controller

We’re seeking a Controller to join our client's high-performing finance team for a six-month contract in a role that goes beyond traditional accounting and reporting.

This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual finance professional with strong technical accounting, IFRS, controllership, and governance experience who enjoys partnering with senior leaders and influencing key business decisions.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and support month-end reporting activities
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex business matters
• Perform variance analysis and deliver insightful financial commentary
• Strengthen governance, controls, and compliance
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Legal, and Tax teams
• Support audit matters and finance transformation initiatives
• Drive process improvement, simplification, and automation

What you bring:

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
• Experience applying IFRS in complex environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
