We’re seeking a Controller to join our client's high-performing finance team for a six-month contract in a role that goes beyond traditional accounting and reporting.
This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual finance professional with strong technical accounting, IFRS, controllership, and governance experience who enjoys partnering with senior leaders and influencing key business decisions.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and support month-end reporting activities
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex business matters
- Perform variance analysis and deliver insightful financial commentary
- Strengthen governance, controls, and compliance
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Legal, and Tax teams
- Support audit matters and finance transformation initiatives
- Drive process improvement, simplification, and automation
What you bring:
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
- Experience applying IFRS in complex environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
- Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
