This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex problems, wearing multiple hats, and gaining exposure to a broad range of technologies, projects, and business functions. You'll work closely with senior leaders, product teams, operations, compliance, and engineering stakeholders to help build and enhance critical payment platforms supporting ACH, Wires, Real-Time Payments (RTP), FedNow, and other modern payment networks.

We're looking for someone who is resourceful, entrepreneurial, curious, and excited by the opportunity to make a visible impact within a fast-moving environment.

What you will do and how you will make an impact …

You will play a key role in the development and evolution of modern payment processing platforms that support critical banking and financial transactions.

In this position, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

Partner with Product, Operations, Compliance, QA, and engineering teams to deliver secure and scalable payment solutions.
Develop integrations with banking partners, third-party providers, and internal systems.
Support highly reliable, secure, and compliant transaction processing platforms.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to monitoring, observability, and operational excellence efforts alongside DevOps and production support teams.

Why we are excited about you ...

You thrive in environments where you can take ownership, solve problems independently, and continuously learn new technologies and business domains.
You are naturally curious and enjoy exploring how complex systems work.
You take initiative and can navigate ambiguity with confidence.
You understand financial services, and want exposure to modern payments technology.

Qualifications ...

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
