- Gather and evaluate technical information including inputs/outputs, motors, data sheets, power requirements, software functionality, and dimensional constraints.
- Translate customer requirements into clearly defined product requirements for the engineering team.
- Act as a bridge between customers and a multidisciplinary engineering organization responsible for product design and development.
- Develop a strong understanding of electronic control products, including circuit boards, connectors, embedded software, inputs/outputs, and electrical power concepts.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from initial product definition through engineering, production, and commercial release.
- Support product launches related to machine automation, autonomous equipment, robotics, and electronic controls.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Sales, and Marketing throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor relevant market trends, competitors, customer requirements, and regulatory considerations.
- Contribute to product positioning, technical marketing collateral, market strategies, and customer communications.

- Foundational understanding of electronics, electrical controls, inputs/outputs, power, and software or embedded-system functionality.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to listen, build rapport, and ask thoughtful technical questions.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable information for technical and engineering teams.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
