We are recruiting a project manager for our client in Toronto. This is a 6 months contract and fully on site
Description:
Overview
Project Manager supporting primarily corporate rebranding and website redevelopment initiatives.
This is not a transformation program. The focus is on coordinating projects, managing vendors, driving communication, and ensuring deliverables move forward.
The PM may also be asked to support additional projects as capacity allows.
Key Responsibilities
- Project planning and execution
- Budget management
- Schedule management
- RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Vendor coordination and management
- Executive reporting
- Hands-on project delivery support
- Working with IT partners to keep projects progressing
- Managing external vendors from a project delivery perspective
Required Experience
- 10+ years of Project Management experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with multiple vendors and drive accountability
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Experience managing business-facing initiatives
Nice to Have
- Financial services experience
- Marketing project experience
- Techno-functional background
Not a Fit
- PMs focused exclusively on technical infrastructure or software development projects
- Heavy transformation-program PMs are likely overqualified/not aligned
Methodology & Tools
- Primarily Waterfall environment (not Agile)
- Jira has been used on some projects

Requirements
Requires 10 or more years of project management experience, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple vendors and drive accountability. Experience with business-facing initiatives is required; financial services, marketing projects, and a techno-functional background are preferred, with Waterfall experience relevant to the primarily Waterfall environment.
