$65k Regulatory Assistant - Confectionary - LaSalle (100% Onsite)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Assistant to join a well-established company in the food industry in LaSalle. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs who is looking for a supportive work environment and long-term stability.

Role Requirements

1+ year of experience in regulatory compliance within the food industry (strongly preferred - although we could still be open to profiles interested in the industry).
Fully bilingual in English and French, written and spoken.
Knowledge of Canadian food labelling regulations is an asset.
Comfortable with MS Office and digital documentation systems.
Basic math skills for nutritional panel calculations and conversions.

What You’ll Do

Review supplier documentation, product specifications and certificates of analysis.
Prepare product data sheets and maintain regulatory documentation.
Help ensure compliance with Canadian food safety and labelling requirements.
Translate packaging and regulatory content between English and French.
Respond to customer inquiries related to product quality and safety.
Maintain records related to customer complaints and resolutions.
Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and customers on regulatory matters.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and compliance.
