Salesforce Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst / QA Analyst to support the ongoing development and enhancement of a Salesforce-based donor and workplace-giving platform.

This is a hybrid role combining business analysis, functional testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and product owners to ensure system enhancements meet business requirements and deliver meaningful outcomes for end users.

The ideal candidate has strong Salesforce experience, excellent analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to testing and requirements gathering.

This 2-3 month contract will prioritize candidates hybrid on-site in Calgary but is open to candidates remotely across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with business teams and developers to clarify requirements, identify gaps, and resolve functional questions.
• Develop and execute functional, end-to-end, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Test Salesforce Experience Cloud portals across multiple user types, including authentication, permissions, and guest access.
• Validate Salesforce data, reports, and business processes using reporting tools and SOQL.
• Test integrations and workflows involving payment processing, donations, and financial reporting.
• Identify, document, and retest defects, ensuring solutions meet both technical requirements and business needs.
• Review automated testing results and conduct additional hands-on testing where required.
• Coordinate UAT and stakeholder sign-off before production releases.
• Participate in Agile sprint activities and support post-release validation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a Salesforce Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or QA Analyst role.
• Strong background in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and acceptance criteria development.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing, end-to-end testing, and UAT.
• Experience working with Salesforce Experience Cloud or similar customer-facing portals.
• Ability to validate Salesforce data using reports or SOQL.
• Experience testing user permissions, authentication workflows, and multiple user scenarios.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
• Knowledge of fundraising processes, including donations, pledges, and campaign reporting.
• Experience with Stripe or other payment integrations.
• Financial reconciliation and reporting validation experience.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility testing.
• Experience using AI-assisted testing tools.
