SENIOR ACCOUNTANT | EDMONTON | 3–4 MONTH CONTRACT
I’m looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a manufacturing company in Edmonton on a 3–4 month contract.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who can step in quickly, support the month-end close, and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage month-end close activities.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Perform variance analysis and costing analysis.
- Calculate and record accruals.
- Review journal entries prepared by Junior Accountants.
- Support the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
What we’re looking for:
🔹 CPA designation.
🔹 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including financial statement preparation.
🔹 Strong month-end close and financial reporting experience.
🔹 Manufacturing experience is a strong asset.
🔹 Ability to review and provide guidance on junior-level accounting work.
🔹 Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
