  • Participate in client meetings, provide professional guidance, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Document client discussions, coordinate follow-up activities, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Review work completed by team members, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Identify accounting and business challenges, recommend practical solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Partners and colleagues on complex client matters and strategic projects.
  • Take ownership of engagements while contributing to broader firm objectives and operational priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive public accounting experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Canadian accounting standards, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and client engagement files.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable providing recommendations, challenging assumptions, and contributing ideas to senior leadership.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and confident managing a broad range of responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Caseware and TaxPrep.
  • Strong background in financial statement preparation and review engagements.
  • Experience managing corporate and personal tax files.
