Reporting to the Director, Distribution Operations, the Inbound Manager is responsible for leading inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. This role ensures products are received, stored, and replenished safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting service and productivity goals.
What you will do:
- Lead and oversee all inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, and inventory management.
- Plan and manage daily workflows, staffing, and resources to meet productivity, inventory, and service targets.
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety, inventory accuracy, quality, space utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Inventory Control, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Transportation teams to ensure effective inventory flow and resolve operational issues.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Champion health and safety, 5S, and warehouse best practices while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.
- Support operational planning, cost control, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Distribution Operations.
About you:
- 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or supply chain experience, including 3+ years leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory management, replenishment, and warehouse operations.
- Proven leader with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams while driving accountability and results.
- Experience with WMS, inventory management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office.
- Analytical and data-driven, with experience using KPIs to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety, regulatory compliance, and warehouse best practices.
- Forklift and material handling equipment experience required; wholesale distribution industry experience is an asset.
