The Opportunity

As the Commercial Contract Lead reporting directly to the Commercial Contracting Director, you serve as the Finance & Administration partner to the Provincial Healthcare Leader and regional squads. Guided by your knowledge of the public tendering process, you act as the Face of Roche to key account Procurement Leaders in the province. You will apply your financial acumen to manage the end-to-end contract life cycle, serving as a skilled negotiator focused on active listening to deliver shared value for internal and external stakeholders.

Establish and own relationships with key provincial Procurement Leaders, managing overall customer experience for Commercial Contracting (renewals, quotes, billing blocks, collections, credit/debit notes).
Collaborate with the Provincial Health Team to support sales strategies, deal creation, and monitoring across provincial accounts (proposal preparation, TCO models, deal modeling in GDC, executive reviews, trade-in/refresh strategies).
Provide accurate and timely contract, pricing, and trending analysis to support squad objectives.
Identify opportunities and threats via RFP platforms and customer interactions, recommending performance improvement and value-based procurement strategies.
Scan the business landscape for industry trends to drive profitable growth and regional insights.
Partner with the Commercial Contracting chapter for SME support.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in general Accounting/Finance/Contracting OR Technical Diploma / DEC (CEGEP) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Proven ability to manage priorities and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, and confidence interacting with senior-level buying influencers.
Demonstrated Roche Dia Mindsets & Behaviors and alignment with Operating Principles.
Ability to travel (up to 20% of the time).

In this position, you will be servicing customers across Canada, therefore a proficient level of English is required and French is required.

Experience on SAP
Knowledge of the Diagnostics Industry and/or Healthcare Industry

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Laval is 90,312.00 and 118,534.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.

En tant que responsable des contrats commerciaux relevant directement du directeur des contrats commerciaux, vous servez de partenaire Finance et Administration au responsable provincial des soins de santé et aux escouades régionales. Guidé(e) par votre connaissance du processus d'appels d'offres publics, vous agissez en tant que visage de Roche auprès des responsables de l'approvisionnement des comptes clés de la province. Vous appliquerez votre sens financier pour gérer le cycle de vie complet des contrats, en agissant en tant que négociateur(trice) chevronné(e) axé(e) sur l'écoute active afin d'offrir une valeur partagée aux parties prenantes internes et externes.

Établir et entretenir des relations avec les principaux responsables de l'approvisionnement provinciaux, en gérant l'expérience client globale pour les contrats commerciaux (renouvellements, devis, blocages de facturation, recouvrements, notes de crédit/débit).
Collaborer avec l'équipe provinciale de la santé pour appuyer les stratégies de vente, la création et le suivi des ententes pour l'ensemble des comptes provinciaux (préparation des propositions, modèles de coût total de possession [TCO], modélisation des ententes dans GDC, revues exécutives, stratégies de reprise/rafraîchissement).
Fournir une analyse précise et rapide des contrats, des prix et des tendances afin d'appuyer les objectifs de l'escouade.
Identifier les opportunités et les menaces au moyen des plateformes de demandes de propositions (RFP) et des interactions avec les clients, en recommandant des améliorations de la performance et des stratégies d'approvisionnement axées sur la valeur.
Scruter le paysage commercial pour déceler les tendances du secteur afin de stimuler une croissance rentable et d'obtenir des perspectives régionales.

Qui vous êtes

Baccalauréat avec plus de 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en comptabilité générale/finance/contrats OU diplôme technique / DEC (CÉGEP) avec plus de 8 ans d'expérience pertinente.
Très haute maîtrise de Microsoft Excel.
Capacité démontrée à gérer les priorités et à travailler sous pression avec des échéanciers serrés.
Solide sens des affaires, d'excellentes compétences relationnelles et l'assurance nécessaire pour interagir avec des décideurs en approvisionnement de haut niveau.
