Our expectations

Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Compensation & HR Operations, the selected candidate will act as a strategic leader for the HRIS function across the organization. The Director will define the vision, governance and roadmap for HR technologies while ensuring the evolution of HR administration services supporting the associate life cycle.

Responsible for the HR technology ecosystem, analytics, automation and continuous process improvement, the Director will contribute to operational efficiency, the quality of the associate experience and the achievement of business priorities.

Your role

Strategic leadership and transformation

Define and implement the organization’s HRIS vision, strategy and roadmap.
Ensure governance of the HR technology ecosystem and prioritize investments based on business needs.
Advise HR leaders and business partners on digital transformation and process optimization opportunities.
Monitor emerging trends in HR technology, artificial intelligence, automation and analytics.
Assess the business benefits and return on investment of HR technology initiatives.

HR systems governance

Lead the evolution and optimization of the HR systems portfolio, including Workday and related platforms.
Establish standards, processes, controls and governance mechanisms to ensure the integrity, security and compliance of HR data.
Collaborate with HR teams, IT and external partners to ensure optimal alignment of technology solutions.

Project portfolio management and innovation

Lead the planning, prioritization and execution of roadmap projects.
Oversee system implementations, enhancements, upgrades and technology integrations.
Ensure rigorous management of budgets, timelines, risks and the achievement of expected benefits.

Data, analytics and artificial intelligence

Develop and implement an HR data strategy that supports data-driven decision-making.
Define the operating model for HR analytics and organizational performance indicators.
Lead automation, robotization and artificial intelligence initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency.

HR administration and administrative support

Ensure the governance and evolution of HR administrative processes in order to support an efficient, consistent and compliant associate experience across the organization.
Define service orientations, service standards and performance indicators related to HR administration activities.
Ensure the optimization, automation and continuous improvement of HR administrative processes by leveraging the capabilities of technology platforms.

Associate record life cycle

Ensure governance of the processes and systems supporting the full administrative associate life cycle, from hire to departure.
Ensure the integrity, quality and compliance of data associated with associate records.
Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, automate and improve HR administrative processes.

HR administrative inquiries

Ensure the effectiveness of administrative support mechanisms for associates, managers and HR partners.
Ensure the evolution of practices, procedures and tools to meet operational needs and improve the user experience.
Analyze recurring trends and issues in order to guide continuous improvement actions.

Workday transactions

Ensure governance and optimization of HR transactions performed in Workday.
Ensure the standardization, compliance and efficiency of transactional processes.
Collaborate with HR teams, IT and business partners to maximize the use of Workday, improve the user experience and increase process automation.

Team management

Engage, develop and coach the team to ensure the development of current and future expertise.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Ensure that the team has the skills and tools required to support the evolution of the function.

The Qualifications We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in administration, information technology, human resources or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology or digital transformation.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams and project portfolios.
Recognized expertise in Workday solutions and the HR technology ecosystem.
Experience in data governance, HR analytics, artificial intelligence and automation.
Experience in continuous improvement and supporting change initiatives.
Ability to collaborate with leaders at various levels and build effective partnerships.
Strategic vision combined with a strong ability to execute.
