Your role:

Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs
Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

Ability to lift 25 pounds
Knowledge of building materials is an asset

Responsibilities

Advise customers on lumber and building materials, help load products safely, and verify orders against invoices. Maintain the lumberyard by unloading deliveries, sorting and organizing stock, labeling prices, keeping the area clean and safe, and completing opening or closing duties as needed.
