Contract Duration: ASAP to 05/31/2027 (Possibility of extension)

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Story Behind the Need

• Business group: Canadian Commercial Banking Credit & Business Controls

• Project: Salesforce CRM Strategy

Delivering FY26 and FY27 Commercial Banking Salesforce enhancement initiatives and require a resource to support discovery, requirements gathering, and solution definition. The individual will work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and the development team to ensure successful delivery of business functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business & Requirements Analysis

• Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, non-functional, and data requirements.

• Challenge assumptions and ask probing questions to identify underlying business needs.

• Translate complex business problems into clear user stories, process flows, and functional requirements.

• Document current state and future state processes.

• Identify impacts across systems, teams, and business processes.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Business Owners, Product Owners, Relationship Managers, Operations teams, and Technology partners.

• Facilitate discussions to align stakeholders on scope, priorities, solutions, and business outcomes.

• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.

• Manage conflicting requirements and drive consensus.

Agile Delivery Support

• Create and maintain detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, and features within Jira.

• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.

• Ensure requirements are sufficiently detailed for development teams.

• Work closely with developers and solution architects throughout design and build activities.

• Clarify requirements and answer functional questions during delivery.

Solution Design & Dependency Management

• Develop a deep understanding of the Commercial Banking ecosystem and related platforms.

• Analyze upstream and downstream impacts of proposed solutions.

• Identify integration points, process dependencies, data dependencies, and operational impacts.

• Partner with architects and technology teams to assess feasibility and solution options.

• Support end-to-end solution design discussions.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Partner with QA teams to ensure business requirements are well understood.

• Review test cases and ensure adequate test coverage.

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Participate in defect triage and issue resolution.

• Validate delivered functionality against business requirements.

Documentation & Governance

•Maintain high-quality documentation within Confluence and other project repositories.

•Create:

o Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

o Functional Requirements

o User Stories

o Data Mapping Documents

o Process Flows

o Business Rules

o UAT Materials

o Decision Logs

• Ensure requirements traceability from idea through implementation.

What Success Looks Like:

Requirements are clear, complete, and actionable before development begins.

Stakeholders are aligned on scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.

Dependencies and risks are identified early.

Developers receive sufficient detail to build with confidence.

QA teams understand the business context and expected outcomes.

Solutions are delivered with minimal rework and achieve intended business value.

Acts as the trusted bridge between business and technology.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience as Business Analysis in Agile delivery environments.

• Experience facilitating workshops with senior business stakeholders.

• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills

• 2-3 years of recent experience working on Salesforce CRM implementations or enhancements is a must have

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth, or Financial Services.

• Previous experience with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office Suite

Best vs. Average Candidate:

The ideal candidate would be an experienced Business Analyst with strong communication and presentation skills. Recent experience working on Salesforce CRM implementations or enhancements projects is a must have. Previous experience with top banks and financial institutes is very nice to have. Salesforce certification is highly preferred.

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required

• Salesforce certification is an asset.

Candidate Review & Selection

1-2 Rounds of interviews:

1^st round with HM: MS Teams video Interview

2^nd round with Product owner and HM: in-person interview.

Question will be related to previous experience as a Business Analyst and Salesforce experience.

- Will be looking for strong communication and presentation skills.
