Sales Associate

At Roots, our Sales Associates are brand ambassadors who enjoy building authentic connections and creating memorable experiences for every customer. We are looking for individuals who enjoy connecting with customers, act with integrity, embrace the freedom to express their individuality, take initiative, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are proud to support their team, community, and the Roots brand.

What You'll Do

Deliver exceptional customer service by confidently engaging and assisting customers.
Build authentic customer relationships that drive sales, customer loyalty, and achievement of individual and store goals.

Take initiative to meet your sales goals and support the success of the store.

Support daily store operations, including POS transactions, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining visual standards.

Resolve customer concerns with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
Collaborate with teammates and leaders to create an outstanding customer experience.

Stay current on product knowledge and seek opportunities to learn and grow.
Contribute wherever needed to support team success and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Role Requirements

Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be available to work during the peak holiday business period, from mid-November through the first week of January.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods during a 3-8 hour shift.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and move merchandise.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
