  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities

  • 8–15 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and the surrounding ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies, specifically Kafka.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and relational databases such as Oracle.
  • Familiarity with frontend development using Angular.
  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and their application.
  • Strong back-end Java skills with some front-end experience.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work directly with business users.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and deliver solutions in short cycles.
  • Comfortable using AI coding tools.

Desired Skills, Experience, & Abilities

  • Expertise with Java 17+, Spring, and Spring Boot Framework.
  • Experience with Reactive Programming.
  • Experience with Python for scripting.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Experience building applications with Angular and React.js; React.js is acceptable in place of Angular.
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks such as JUnit.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira.
  • Lending or front-office experience.

  • Partner directly with front-office business teams to design and deliver cutting-edge, enterprise-scale applications that address complex, high-impact financial challenges.
  • Leverage expertise in enterprise Java development, real-time data streaming, and Artificial Intelligence to build scalable, resilient, and intelligent systems.
  • Apply modern technologies including Java, Spring, Kafka, Angular, React.js, AI/Machine Learning, MongoDB, Oracle, and Kubernetes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to senior stakeholders.
  • Champion clean, testable software development practices, rigorous code reviews, Agile delivery, and a strong DevOps culture.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust, enterprise-scale applications using Java, Spring, and Kafka.
  • Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular and React.js.
  • Leverage AI and Machine Learning to create innovative features and drive intelligent automation.
  • Work with diverse data persistence technologies, including MongoDB and Oracle, to manage complex data landscapes.
  • Write clean, testable code using JUnit and participate in rigorous code reviews.
  • Collaborate within an Agile framework using tools such as Jira to manage workflows and ensure timely delivery.
  • Contribute to the DevOps culture through containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
