Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join a technology team supporting a leading banking/financial services organization in Mississauga. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Angular, and OpenShift. The role requires strong hands-on development experience across front-end and back-end technologies, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, microservices, containerized environments, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices. The developer will work with cross-functional technology stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Experience in regulated banking or financial services environments is highly desirable, including familiarity with enterprise security, data privacy, risk, audit, regulatory requirements, and high-availability systems handling sensitive financial or customer data.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
- Develop robust, reusable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop and integrate microservices and enterprise applications using modern architecture and design principles.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications in Red Hat OpenShift environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift technologies.
- Implement secure, scalable, and high-performing application components suitable for enterprise banking environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, production support, infrastructure teams, and other technology stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, coding, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
- Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build, deployment, and release processes.
