Account Coordinator Montreal

Full-Time | In-Person (4 days/per week in office, 1 day hybrid) | Montreal, QC

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented PR Account Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an entry-level PR role for someone who already has a foundation in lifestyle public relations and is ready to take on more responsibility.

The Account Coordinator will work closely with Account Managers and senior team members to support a portfolio of lifestyle brands across beauty, fashion, food & beverage, hospitality and consumer industries.

Key Responsibilities

Create, research and maintain targeted media and influencer lists for client campaigns, launches and announcements
Conduct media outreach, including pitching journalists and influencers, distributing press materials and proactively following up on opportunities
Monitor print, online, broadcast and social media coverage for clients
Gather and organize press clippings and maintain accurate coverage trackers
Create weekly, monthly and campaign-specific client reports, including media coverage, influencer results and campaign updates
Draft pitches, press releases, media alerts, briefing documents, talking points and other PR materials
Manage incoming media and influencer requests across client accounts, ensuring requests are responded to, actioned and followed through in a timely manner
Coordinate product seeding, gifting and influencer mail-out campaigns from start to finish
Prepare, pack and organize PR boxes, mailers and product shipments
Manage shipment tracking, deliveries, gifting trackers and product inventory
Support influencer outreach and communications, including gifting coordination and follow-ups
Assist with the execution of events and activations, including guest list development, media and influencer outreach, RSVPs, invitations, gifting, vendor coordination, set-up and on-site support
Liaise with media, influencers, couriers, vendors, printers and other external partners
Help oversee Rose PR’s social media channels, including daily community management and engagement
Maintain Rose PR’s social media content calendar and assist with drafting, scheduling and publishing content
Monitor PR & Social trends and identify relevant content opportunities for the agency
Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute ideas for client campaigns, mailers, events and activations
Support Account Managers with day-to-day client communications, requests and deliverables
Assist with maintaining the office/showroom, organizing client products and managing incoming and outgoing samples
Provide general account and administrative support as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of lifestyle PR experience
Bilingualism in English and French.
Diploma or degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field
Strong understanding of the Canadian media and influencer landscape
Strong writing, research and communication skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Able to manage multiple deadlines, accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and resourceful with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
Comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks and seeing them through from start to finish
Comfortable with both PR execution and hands-on tasks - from pitching media and preparing reports to packing mailers and supporting events
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends
