Summary
The SAP Project Lead will manage the local implementation of a new SAP ERP system, partnering with global and local teams to support a standardized Finance & Controlling solution. This role ensures local readiness for deployment, including planning, testing, training, data migration, and go-live activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent local Finance and Controlling requirements in global SAP template design.
- Coordinate Finance, IT, key users, and business stakeholders throughout the rollout.
- Manage local project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Support data migration, testing, training, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Track actions, resolve issues, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Drive user readiness, change management, and post-go-live support.
Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with SAP/ERP implementations, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes.
- Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional fluency in English.
Preferred Experience
- SAP template-based rollout experience.
- Knowledge of testing, data migration, training, cutover, and hypercare.
- Project management certification or training.
- Experience in a standardized finance environment.
Success Measures
- Local requirements are incorporated into the global solution.
- Project milestones, testing, and training are completed on schedule.
- Risks and issues are proactively managed.
- Successful deployment of a standardized Finance & Controlling solution.
- Smooth transition to operational support after go-live.
