Work closely with design engineers to suggest suitable alternatives that meet technical, regulatory, reliability, and cost requirements
Engage with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to gather technical information, availability details, and market insights
Support sourcing activities by assessing supplier capability, price trends, lead times, and emerging technologies
Coordinate with procurement teams to resolve supply issues, negotiate alternatives, and ensure long-term component strategies
Work with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure component selections align with design objectives and production requirements
Participate in design reviews, providing component-level expertise and risk assessments
Assist documentation teams with accurate BOM creation and updates
Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, datasheets

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related technical field

Strong understanding of electronic components (active, passive, electromechanical) and their specifications
Familiarity with component lifecycle management tools, compliance requirements (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals), and reliability considerations
Ability to analyze datasheets, compare technical parameters, and make informed recommendations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines is highly valued

Bonus Points:
