We are hiring a Building Maintenance Shift Lead; a strong hands on leader to train and support the team and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
We are also hiring a Maintenance Worker where you'll play an important role in keeping our facilities safe, clean and in good repair. We're looking for hands-on, dependable team member with a positive attitude that enjoys solving problems and takes pride in maintaining a first-class facility.
Pay within range is dependent on position, experience, and training.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility and grounds.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility during operating hours.
- Monitor the facility for safety and security concerns and respond appropriately.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and building equipment.
- Perform routine grounds maintenance, including lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, ice control, and exterior property upkeep.
- Assist with setting up and tearing down rooms and equipment for special events.
- Assist with snow removal and other seasonal grounds maintenance as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, maintenance logs, and related documentation.
- Complete hazard assessments and comply with all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2years of building maintenance experience; experience maintaining recreational or commercial facilities is considered an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lead Position requires at least one year of management type experience in a maintenance role.
- Experience with basic repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Experience or knowledge of pool operations, ice arena facilities, and recreational building systems is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's License.
- Working knowledge of Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Availability for:
- Day shift 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Evening shift 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., including weekends.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check will be required.

Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair building systems, and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the facility and grounds. Support event setup, seasonal grounds work, maintenance documentation, and - for the lead position - training and supporting the maintenance team.
Requirements
Requires at least two years of building maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, basic repair experience, a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license, and working knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation. The lead role also requires at least one year of management-type experience in maintenance; candidates must be able to perform physically demanding work and work day or evening shifts, including weekends.
