Assistant Operations Manager

Vancouver, BC

Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–5:00pm

Office-based | Permanent position

Help Keep the Business Moving

We’re looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support the day-to-day coordination of business operations from our Vancouver office.

You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and different teams to keep processes organized, monitor priorities, coordinate resources, and make sure operational requirements are followed through. This role is suited to someone who enjoys taking responsibility, solving practical problems, and helping teams work effectively.

Your Responsibilities

Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day operational activity
Coordinate schedules, internal requests, meetings, and operational priorities
Monitor workflows and follow up on outstanding tasks
Coordinate information between different departments
Maintain accurate operational records, trackers, and documentation
Assist with staffing schedules, team coordination, and routine administrative requirements
Monitor supplies, materials, equipment, and other operational resources
Help identify process issues and coordinate appropriate solutions
Support the implementation of updated procedures and operational processes
Prepare reports, summaries, and updates for management
Track deadlines, operational requirements, and key activities
Assist with onboarding and training coordination where required
Communicate operational updates clearly to relevant teams
Support projects and initiatives designed to improve day-to-day efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in operations, team coordination, administration, project coordination, customer service, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Communicates confidently with different teams and levels of the business
Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities
Can identify issues and take practical steps toward resolving them
Pays close attention to detail and follows through on commitments
Is comfortable using spreadsheets, reporting tools, email, and office software
Can work independently while supporting the wider operations team
Maintains a professional approach when handling business information
